We set up the TC IDPA forum because we have such a good mix of folks in our club, over 200 folks on the mailing list, 130+ members on the forum. We have several expert shots with years of experience and a number of folks who are just getting started, and a whole group in the middle..
People that have been involved in shooting sports for a while have a number of resources and lots experience available to them. Newer folks have questions and issues that experienced shooters have have faced and have opinions they are willing to share. Boy, are they willing to share and some of the opinions are strongly held.
One of the many great things about Steve Ellis was he shared not only his opinions and insights, but how he had arrived at what he believed. This is what I would like the forum to be, a respectful exhange of ideas and experiences in a facets of defensive pistol shooting.
We moderate the forum to vet new members and keep spammers out. I have also closed the forum archives to non members so we can speak freely. Otherwise, the topic is whatever you want it to be related to defensive pistol shooting and/or IDPA rules and procedures.
